It’s the perfect place to bring clients for a relaxed, no-rush breakfast before heading out to explore homes and neighborhoods. The waffles are outstanding — hearty, comforting, and exactly what you want on a crisp mountain morning. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is friendly and efficient, and it genuinely reflects the charm that makes this part of town special. If you are anywhere near here, you MUST stop by! We waited for about 40 minutes, so recommend calling ahead. But the food was totally worth it! Giant portions and everything tasted amazing, with great service to boot!

We always get breakfast here when we visit ruidoso. This time I tried the huevos rancheros. It was soo good. Different from what I'm used to, but in a very good way. My husband got the chicken steak & eggs. His was sooo good, too! This place does get busy, so if you don't go early there will be a wait.

Our group of 6 was seated about 15 minutes after showing up, which was great because we were starving. We came to Log Cabin Restaurant because it was highly recommended by a frequent visitor of Ruidoso. The recommendation proved to be true as the food was super delicious, in fact it was the best breakfast I had in Ruidoso. All staff members we encountered we very friendly and helpful. I would definitely eat here again the next time I visit.

The restaurant had beautiful decorations and felt so comfortable.The food was amazingly delicious , tasty, hot and I definitely should have came everyday while we were visiting the town .Try the hot flaky and fluffy huge biscuit and gravy — you will be surprised and happy .I ordered an omelet with spinach and bacon and wow , wow , wow did the chef hook me up with lots of bacon it was amazing , hash browns were just cooked perfect -real hash browns that’s how you cook them . Hot coffee on our table was a plus .HATS OFF TO THE CHEF , GREAT FOOD AND GREAT STAFF .Thank you ,your greatly appreciated .

First time here, excellent choice for breakfast. Did not take more than 10 minutes to get a seat, but we got there at the right time. I had the enchilada omelet. Oh my goodness, the flavors were absolutely delicious.

We had breakfast this morning and it was delicious. I had the Chicken fríen steak with over easy eggs and a biscuit with gravy and my wife had the French Toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. We both really enjoyed our breakfast. Definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a great country breakfast. Coffee was great too!!
